King County International Airport (Boeing Field -- KBFI)
Seattle, Washington

King County International Airport is located 5 miles south of downtown Seattle and has the distinction of being the Boeing Company's final test site for the 737, 757, and 777 aircraft. I have provided flight plans for 14 aircraft undergoing final tests prior to delivery to their respective airlines. Each aircraft will fly Monday through Friday for flights of approximately 3-1/2 hours. Since FS9 doesn't support flights that depart and arrive at the same airport I've added a waypoint where the a/c can stop over for 15 minutes. The stopover is at Annette Island, Alaska, and I've included an AFCAD for an upgraded "International" airport there which, of course, doesn't really exist. If you wish to visit Annette Island International, there are runways equipped with the latest in ILS instrumentation. See the additional documentation I've included in the READ MEs.

Commercial flights are available from Boeing Field through San Juan Airlines (C208Bs) and Helijet (B1900Ds to Vancouver) as well as from charter airlines such as Miami Air.

What got me started on this project was that I flew into KBFI in FS9 and there were only a few aircraft there when I arrived. Two Airborne 767s, a UPS 757, and suprisingly, a Miami Air 727. I've driven past Boeing Field several times in the past on real world business trips and it seemed to be always full of brand new, pre-delivery Boeings. So, here they are. I've checked the Boeing web site to try to determine what aircraft are most likely there at the present time but it is only a guess, and probably not a good one at that. However, this package does add a little fun to flight simming and that's why most of are here, right?

Flight plans and aircraft are provided along with the TrafficBFI.bgl file if you just want to place that into your FS9\Scenery\World\Scenery folder. Be sure to read all of the READ MEs included.
